Try this Easy-Breezy Strawberry Romanoff...
- 4 cups of strawberries
- 1/4 of cup sugar
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of high quality vanilla-bean ice cream
- 4 tablespoons of Grand Marnier
Wash cold strawberries; halve strawberries and sprinkle with the sugar, chill thoroughly in refrigerator. Just before serving, beat cream until stiff. Beat vanilla-bean ice cream until fluffy; fold ice cream into whipped cream. Add Grand Marnier, blending until smooth. Arrange strawberries in a martini glass and spoon cream mixture over the strawberries. Be sure to save a few berries for garnish. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream and mint or red sugar. Strawberries Romanoff serves six.
