These mini donut dowels are ghoulishly fun to create!
Start out with wooden craft sticks, ribbon and party cups. We purchased the supplies at Michaels . Wrap ribbon around the party cup and secure with double-stick tape.

There are a few ways to make the donuts. If want to make them from scratch try this recipe. We purchased the mini donut pan at Sur la table .
Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
2 eggs,beaten
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 tsp corn oil
4 tbsp yogurt
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 F. Whisk flour and baking powder in a medium bowl, then combine with sugar.
Beat egg one at a time with milk, oil, yogurt and vanilla extract until well
blended. Then combine with flour mixture, mix vigorously until well
blended.
Lightly spray donut pan with oil. Pour batter into molds up to 2/3 full.
Bake 10 -12 minutes or until tops spring back when lightly touched and donuts are golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool. Note: if you are using a very small pan - check the donuts after seven minutes (they may bake faster based on the size of the pan).
ET Shortcut Tip:
Use small cider mill donuts or if you love chocolate these donettes by Hostess work really well (double dipping the top in chocolate). Sur la table also sells a user friendly and delish donut mix.
Time for the donuts to take a chocolate dip! Melt a bag of chocolate discs and dip the top part of the donut in the melted chocolate (one side only).
Place dipped donuts on wax paper (chocolate side up) and add your favorite Halloween colored sprinkles to the top of the donut before the melted chocolate hardens.
Once the mini donuts are cool - take the wooden stick and poke the donut holes to clear out any excess chocolate that may be left in the donut hole.
Now place the stick (dowel) in the party cup and add three donuts! Wipe the top of the stick to clean off any chocolate from the donut.
"To Die For" Halloween Donut Dowels!
This Oreo inspired witches hat is very easy to make simply melt one bag of chocolate discs and dip an Oreo cookie in the melted chocolate until the Oreo is totally covered. Place the chocolate drenched Oreo on a piece of wax paper.
After dipping about six Oreo cookies, dip a mini wafer cone in the melted chocolate until the cone is totally covered with chocolate. Place the top of the cone on the Oreo cookie. The melted chocolate will "glue" both together and create a witches hat! Add sprinkles to the hat before chocolate is dry. Let cool and place on a cupcake liner.
ET Tip: Take your Halloween presentation to the next level by using a cupcake tree to display these bewitching hats!
