Hello E-Trenders! We are excited to celebrate our one year EventTrender Birthday and wanted to thank all of you who have supported us throughout the year!
Thank you for sharing the EventTrender blog and for helping us grow! We are working on many new ideas including an exciting ET product line! We enjoy sharing our passion for entertaining, decorating and love of lifestyle with all of you!
To celebrate our ET blog b-day we wanted to share this easy, breezy no bake (yes we said no bake) OREO truffle recipe with you and add an ET birthday twist! You are going to love this idea!
Start by making the truffles using two ingredients...
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
One bag of OREO Cookies, finely crushed (about 4-1/4 cups)
Place the OREO cookies in a plastic bag, seal the bag and use a rolling pin to crush the cookies in small pieces.
Mix the softened cream cheese and cookie crumbs until well blended.
Roll into 48 - one inch trufflle balls!
Place a popsicle stick in the middle of each truffle, cover with plastic and let chill in the freezer for about one hour until the truffles harden.
Okay so here is the birthday twist E-Trenders!
We found this stamp kit at Michaels' and thought the candles would be perfect to stamp on the wooden popsicle stick using black ink.
ET TIP: The stamp kit had all three candles as one stamp. Simply cut each candle so you have three long thin candle stamps which fits the popsicle stick perfectly.
Now grab some colorful permanent markers...
Using the markers add a touch of color to the popsicle sticks.
Flameless candles!
Melt 2 pkg. (8 squares each) of Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate. We recommend a slow cooker for melting the chocolate. Dip the OREO truffles in the melted chocolate; place on a waxed paper-covered baking pan or sheet. Add your favorite colored sprinkles..
Let cool in the fidge for one hour until the chocolate coating is firm and place the OREO truffles in cupcake liners to complete the presentation!
Decadent and Divine!
ET TIP: If you are looking for other OREO truffle flavors, check out

Happy Birthday OREO Truffles. Such a sweet ET treat!
Thank you again for a great year of EventTrender inspiration!
