Now for Angela's favorite hair accessory trend...
If you love a little sparkle like EventTrender Angela, have your stylist add some tinsel to your hair! Tinsel comes in a variety of colors, pink, blue, red, green, silver and gold! It is actually a silk piece that gets knotted in your hair to add a subtle sparkle! The best part about it is that you can wash it, curl it and wear it!

To get the scoop on the hair accessory trends sweeping the salons, I visited the ladies over at my salon Blonde Ambition!
My stylist Brittany simply knots a strand of silk tinsel onto a strand of our model Kayla's hair.
Brittany has fellow stylist Irene help her hold the tinsel tight as she tightens the knot.
Brittany uses scissors to trim the strands of tinsel so that they are even to Kayla's haircut.
Hair Tinsel can last a few weeks in your hair, a lot of times they will slide out on their own or you can easily remove them yourself or have your stylist take them out.
Love it because it is such a soft hint of sparkle and really makes a statement!
The stylists at Blonde Ambition continue to get asked about another hair trend...Feather Extensions!
Brittany uses a silicon ring to fasten the feather extension to Kayla's hair~
Once the feathers are secured in the silicon ring, Brittany smooths them out. They are using rooster feathers which are washable and heat resistant. Feather extensions range from $18-25!
