Hello E-Trenders - as promised we want to share a unique storage idea for your mason jar memories that we showcased in our last EventTrender post here.
E-Trender Sue Keels rescued this very vintage train case at a local estate sale...
along with this old school map for $1.00!
Paint the interior of the train case with Mod Podge (matte).
Once the inside is completely covered place the map on top of painted Mod Podge by cutting the map to fit the bottom and sides of the train case.
After the map is placed in the train case paint the top of the map with another coat of Mod Podge and let dry for several hours.
The Mod Podge adds a protective finish inside the train case and gives the map covered interior a new vintage look - the inside is completely transformed!
Now add your hand-crafted memory mason jars, travel books, photos and other vacation keepsakes.
Continue to fill the train case with every new adventure!
