Finalist # 1~
Johnna submitted this entry and writes…this year I decided to plant something new in my urns and went with lush ferns, as you can see they are really gorgeous, and so easy to care for. Along with traditional orange pumpkins I included heirlooms pumpkins and a variety of squash and gourds. While at the Royal Oak farmers market I came across something that looked "corn stalkish" to me, so I tied them up with my usual corn stalks to add another texture and introduce the lovely purple color into the scheme. finally if you see on my porch I have a witch keeping watch and a pumpkin I grew my myself perched atop a decorative pot, I also took a rusty star garland I had and wrapped it around the pumpkin along with an organza bow.

Jennifer submitted this entry and writes…I love Fall and always decorate my house. I tried to use as many elements from my yard as I could. The grape vines, Wisteria pods, yarrow, hydrangea, honeysuckle vines even the straw in the wheel barrow are weeds from the alley behind my house. I made the pumpkins in the wheel barrow and the pillow on the porch. My daughter made me the broom from an old Tiki torch and honeysuckle vines. We had so much fun doing it~ Jennifer

Finalist #3 ~ Cheryl submitted this entry of a bountiful fall harvest she created on this porch. Incorporating various sizes of mums some potted a few in baskets, large and small pumpkins, a cluster of gourds, hay bales and a cornstalk.
