Susan Martz, a mom from Beacon Tree Elementary enlisted E-Trender Angela Butorac to help them create the atmosphere for this year's Daddy Daughter dance...Daddy & Diva World Concert Tour!
In this event, the Diva is in the Details!
The event was held at the The Palazzo Grande banquet and event center. As guests entered, they walked down a hallway lined with luggage and travel posters...staged as the boarding area to an airport.
Guests turned in their boarding pass and received a baggage claim ticket that they would later exchange for one of these little luggage souvenir containers...
The girls were given little passport books that were stamped for them at each concert stop they visited.
ET Tip~ The Beacon Tree moms used the passport book as a reference because at each tour stop, the little girl received a concert keepsake and the stamp in the passport book meant she had already visited that stop...(just in case the little girl could not remember).
The girls and their dads boarded the plane to fly off on their concert tour...first stop...New York City!
Big Time Rush in New York City!
Each girl received a souvenir chap-stick from their visit to see lady liberty!
Next stop, to see Taylor Swift in Paris!
Each girl's passport book was stamped and they received an Eiffel Tower key chain souvenir
Then the girls and their dads traveled to Hong Kong to see Lady Gaga!
Last stop on the tour Justin Bieber in Cairo Egypt!
We rented this Egyptian Statue, the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower and the Foo Dog and Arch from Display Group
Each girl received a wrapped piece of King Tut chocolate when they visited Egypt.
When the dads and their daughters sit down to dinner, each centerpiece was a decorated microphone stand that Susan and her husband made.
The dads had an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to try to win a prize for their daughters.
Prize packages like this Paris themed basket filled with girlie goodies!
The dads also had an opportunity to win a Dad's Gift just for them!
Here is Susan's husband Greg and daughter Camryn taking a break from their concert tour, sharing a father daughter dance ~
E-Trenders, Daddy Daughter Dances are popular events in elementary schools and something that the girls really look forward to. Have you been on the committee to throw one of these events? Let us know what theme you chose and send us pictures for a chance to be featured on EventTrender!
